This assignment is due - in class - all directions on are on the Assignment - In Teams - type right on the document inside of Teams.

Reflect on the themes of freedom and adventure presented in the first three chapters of "Into the Wild." Consider the following questions to guide your writing:

  1. Personal Connection: How do you relate to Christopher McCandless's desire to escape societal expectations? Have you ever felt a strong urge to seek adventure or solitude? Describe that experience.

  2. Nature's Influence: What role does nature play in your life? Write about a specific moment when being outdoors profoundly affected your mood or perspective.

  3. Identity and Purpose: McCandless's journey raises questions about identity and purpose. What do you believe defines you? How does this influence your choices in life?

  4. Choices and Consequences: Reflect on the choices you make daily. Are there any that you would change if you could? Why? How do you think those choices shape your path?

Feel free to explore any of these questions in your entry, and don’t hesitate to include personal anecdotes or creative reflections inspired by the text!
